QREX returns to CQ in 2009!

Following the hugely successful inaugural event in 2007, Queensland Resources Expo (QREX) will return to Central Queensland from 20 – 24 July 2009.

An international showcase of Central Queensland’s globally recognised resources industries, QREX will provide a platform for trade and networking, allowing exhibitors and visitors excellent opportunities to build business relationships, experience new technologies and explore the resources industry.

Limited Trade Exhibition space still available

The very successful Trade Exhibition return as a pivotal part of QREX 2009. Managed by Reed Exhibitions, Australia’s leading exhibition organiser, the Exhibition is already shaping up to be bigger than 2007, when 230 exhibitors providing goods and services to Queensland’s resources industries took part.

Exhibitors at QREX 2009 will benefit from a unique opportunity to establish and grow their share of Queensland’s dynamic market for products, services and technologies for mining, engineering and related industrial sectors.

Don’t miss this opportunity to be part of what promises to be a great exhibition.
For details on how to book your exhibition space, contact Chris Ghosh from Reed Exhibitions on (02) 9422 2518 or chris.ghosh@reedexhibitions.com.au.

Launching the Australian Resources Careers Market

The Educate and Inspire Centre also returns in 2009, renamed the Australian Resources Careers Market (ARCM). The Market will focus on skilling, up-skilling and re-skilling in 2009, acting as a centre of information and employment for the entire community.

Explore the diverse career paths available within the resources sector and get up-to-date information on your training and education options. Consider specialising within your current field or improving your current skills with further education and job training opportunities. Or look to return to a past career path or move into a new profession with re-skilling and re-training opportunities, recruitment assistance and networking with business leaders.

The Australian Resources Careers Market will be open to all members of the community and will focus on meeting the needs of past, current and future resources employees to ensure the success of the Central Queensland community.
