QREX Leading Potential Business and Tourism Boom

The possibility of businesses wanting to service resource operations in Central Queensland locating in or re-locating to Central Queensland will be the key factor for many businesses attending QREX.

“QREX aims for the Trade Exhibition and Conferences to be a major must-attend event in the international resources calendar, and to build business and tourism throughout Central Queensland,” said Event Manager Ellie Traynor.

The QREX Trade Exhibition and conferences are expected to result in a significant stimulus to the development of industries servicing the resources sector from Central Queensland.

“QREX will continue to attract visitors coming to Central Queensland to investigate Australia’s solutions to some of the industry’s most difficult questions. This in turn should have a beneficial affect on tourism visits to the area, just as the triennual beef expos have made a special contribution to the Capricorn Region’s tourism figures.”
